Ukraine imposes sanctions on Russia’s Wildberries, founders

KIEV, Jul 26 (PRIME) -- Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky has put into effect sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council against a number of individuals and legal entities, including Russian online retailer Wildberries, according to rulings released on his official portal late on July 23.

“Limited liability company Wildberries. The term – three years,” the documents read.

The sanctions also apply to the company’s affiliates in Ukraine, Poland, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The list of sanctions against individuals was expanded with executives of Wildberries: co-owner and CEO Tatiana Bakalchuk, co-owner Vladislav Bakalchuk, and IT Director Andrei Revyashko.
